Billy Al Bengston

Billy Al Bengston was an American painter associated with Southern California's postwar art scene. Drawing on motorcycle culture, commercial finishing techniques and recurring emblems, he produced polished, irreverent abstractions that helped define the distinctive visual language of Los Angeles-based Finish Fetish art.
