Kamulch is a contemporary artist known for highly detailed pen-and-ink drawings that transform cities, architecture, and everyday surroundings into intricate visual narratives. Working primarily through the repeated accumulation of fine lines, Kamulch creates densely constructed compositions in which buildings, streets, landscapes, and distant skylines emerge with remarkable precision and atmosphere.Originally trained in Visual Design, Kamulch began drawing while in high school, initially developing an interest in comics before gradually establishing a distinctive line-based practice. The artist approaches drawing as a way of recording fragments of memory and emotion, often focusing on familiar streets, old alleyways, everyday people, and the changing character of urban environments.Kamulch’s cityscapes range from views of Seoul and Tokyo to Amsterdam, Shanghai, and Chicago. Despite their architectural complexity, the works retain a personal and contemplative quality, balancing meticulous observation with the expressive rhythm of the artist’s hand. Through this patient process, ordinary urban scenes become immersive records of place, time, and lived experience.Alongside works on paper, Kamulch has also developed a presence within digital art and NFT platforms, extending the artist’s distinctive drawing language into contemporary forms of collecting and presentation. Across both physical and digital media, Kamulch’s practice remains defined by a fascination with line, memory, atmosphere, and the visual complexity of the modern city.
