Kerry Darlington is a Welsh contemporary artist best known for her richly layered, resin-finished paintings that blend fairy-tale imagination with technical mastery. Born in 1974 in Rhyl, North Wales, she studied Illustration with a focus on classic storybook art, deeply inspired by Arthur Rackham, Edmund Dulac, and the aesthetics of the Pre-Raphaelites and Art Nouveau. After working in South America and later as a mural designer in the UK, Darlington developed a unique painting technique using acrylics, metallics, and hand-poured resin on wood panels.
