Listen04

Listen04 is a British contemporary artist, whose practice spans drawing, painting, and sculpture. Known for a deliberately raw and deceptively childlike visual language, his work combines dark humor, satire, and personal reflection to explore themes of anxiety, mortality, identity, human behavior, and the absurdities of everyday life.

Beneath the apparent simplicity of his imagery lies a more complex and often provocative examination of contemporary experience. Listen04 frequently employs irreverent text, crude figures, and unconventional compositions, using humor as a means of addressing uncomfortable or deeply personal subjects.

Since the early 2010s, Listen04 has exhibited internationally in solo and group exhibitions across the United Kingdom, Europe, the United States, Chile, and Singapore. His work has appeared in exhibitions and projects at venues including Somerset House in London, Museo Artequin Viña del Mar in Chile, One Grand Gallery in Portland, and Daniel Rolnik Gallery in Los Angeles. His solo exhibitions have included Still Alives in Paris, Too Far Isn't Far Enough in Brighton, and Child's Play in Los Angeles.
