Lucas Price, formerly known as Cyclops, is renowned for his photorealistic paintings that delve into the intricate relationships between objects and language. Inspired by the tradition of still life, Price elevates ordinary items like buttons and fire extinguishers, infusing them with compelling text to prompt viewers into active dialogue with his work. 

In his complex pieces like "For Ferguson, With Love" (2015), Price challenges conventional perceptions of everyday objects and demonstrates how words can reshape their significance.
