## About Nicolas Party

Nicolas Party grew up in Switzerland before studying at the Lausanne School of Art and later Glasgow School of Art. Early influences included graffiti and street murals, experiences that shaped his interest in large-scale public works and the transformative power of colour. As his practice developed, Party refined a visual language rooted in simplicity of form and intensity of hue, deliberately referencing art-historical lineages ranging from Renaissance portraiture to Symbolist landscapes.

His exhibitions often blur the boundary between artwork and environment. Party redesigns gallery spaces with coloured walls, architectural interventions, and atmospheric lighting, turning each show into a total installation.
