Pol Taburet, a promising young French artist hailing from Guadeloupe, emerged victorious in the inaugural edition of the Reiffers Art Initiatives Prize, a prestigious accolade supporting emerging talents in contemporary art. His exceptional work took center stage in May 2022 at the Studio des Acacias during the inaugural group exhibition organized by Reiffers Art Initiatives, titled "DES CORPS LIBRES – Une jeune scène française" (FREE BODIES – A Young French Scene).

A graduate of the École nationale supérieure d’arts of Paris-Cergy, Pol Taburet has already left an indelible mark with his compelling figurative paintings, capturing entities existing on the boundary between the human and the spectral realms. The distinctiveness of Taburet's artistic expression has garnered attention, leading to his prominent feature on the cover of Numéro art 10, further solidifying his presence in the contemporary art landscape at an incredibly young age.
