Florian Eymann

Florian Eymann is a French painter known for deconstructing the conventions of portraiture. Using expressive brushwork, erasure and raw color, he allows faces to remain only partially visible, creating psychologically charged images in which identity appears fragmented, unstable and continually re-formed by the act of painting.
