Gordon Matta Clark

Gordon Matta-Clark was an American artist best known for cutting into abandoned buildings to create temporary, site-specific architectural interventions. Through photography, film, drawing and physical alteration, he challenged conventional ideas of property, urban space and architecture while revealing the social histories embedded in structures.
