Nigel Mason is a self-taught painter who initially learned by replicating old masters. His diverse career included window dressing, signwriting, and prop making, before he moved to Devon in the 1980s, which greatly influenced his art. After earning a Fine Art degree in 2000 and lecturing at Petroc, he shifted focus to a full-time painting career. Now represented by Washington Green Fine Art Publishing, his work is exhibited in Castle Galleries and independent galleries across Britain and Europe, and is held in collections worldwide.
