Paul Milinski
|
Paul Milinski is an Australian artist and digital world-builder whose work explores imagined environments where the natural and the man-made exist in extraordinary balance.A former labourer from Melbourne, Milinski taught himself 3D modelling at night, gradually developing a distinctive visual language defined by surreal architecture, dreamlike landscapes and meticulously constructed spaces. His environments feel strangely familiar—like places remembered from a dream, or somewhere you’ve visited but cannot quite place. Quiet, cinematic and often impossible, they blur the boundaries between reality and imagination.Milinski’s work has been commissioned by some of the world’s most influential luxury and technology brands, including Hermès, Cartier, Gucci, Louis Vuitton and Samsung. For Cartier’s Australian Dreamscapes, he created imagery spanning 510 square metres of the brand’s Sydney flagship façade—the largest work of his career to date. His limited-edition works are represented by LUMAS galleries worldwide. His debut digital collections sold out, while his practice has become the subject of study within design curricula internationally.
