Peter Hildick has been passionate about drawing and wildlife since childhood. Although he initially pursued a career in the Royal Navy due to the perceived risks of an art career in the 1960s, he continued to draw and exchange his art for small rewards. Now working in the defense industry, Hildick continues to create wildlife art, drawing inspiration from various sources, including his local wildlife park. His work gained recognition in 1996, leading to his first publications by 1997. Hildick’s art has been exhibited in the Halcyon Gallery and is celebrated for its natural and gifted portrayal of wildlife.
