Xue Wang was born in northern China in 1980. After earning a BA in Fashion from Lu Xun Academy of Fine Art in Shenyang, she moved to London at twenty-two to complete her MA at the University of Westminster. Drawing inspiration from Victoriana, dolls, and funfairs, Wang infuses her work with a blend of wry humor and vibrant paint, creating art that is both playful and profound.
