Anthea Hamilton is a British artist known for her immersive installations, sculpture, film, and performance works that blend surrealism, design, and pop-cultural references. Her practice is characterized by a playful yet sophisticated exploration of identity, gender, and the body, often reconfiguring familiar images and objects into unexpected, theatrical environments.Hamilton studied at the Leeds Metropolitan University before completing an MA at the Royal College of Art.
